PURPOSE: A device for stabilizing transmission power of a wideband CDMA mobile communication terminal is provided to minimize changes of transmission power by driving a stabilizing device when transmitting a transmission signal with maximum power, and to maintain certain power without driving a stabilizing circuit at other moments, thereby adaptively stabilizing the transmission power. CONSTITUTION: A controller(113) determines transmission power according to an RSSI, and variably outputs reference power. An automatic gain amplifier(101) amplifies an inputted transmission signal according to an automatic gain control value, and outputs the amplified signal. A power amplifier(105) amplifies power of the transmission signal, and outputs a final transmission signal. A current sensing device(103) detects a current when amplifying the power of the power amplifier(105), and applies a sensing signal if the current exceeds a preset current value. A transmission power detector(107) detects transmission power of the final transmission signal, and outputs the signal. A switch(109) is switched on when being applied with the sensing signal, and outputs the transmission power. A gain controller(111) compares reference power with the transmission power, applies the automatic gain control value in proportion to the compared value, and applies an automatic gain control value in proportion to the reference power. |
