FIELD: heat power industry, construction of both chimney-type and mechanical-draft towers. SUBSTANCE: cooling tower includes framework with movable members, diffuser, neck, contraction, bearing ring, colonnade, catchment basin, water distributing system, sprinkler as well as central column with fan at level of neck, if necessary. Neck comes in the form of spherical shell truncated on both poles which lower edge is made fast to upper edge of immobile contraction. Mentioned spherical shell houses another spherical shell of smaller diameter which upper edge is made fast to lower edge of diffuser. Mobile part of framework including diffuser and internal spherical shell is coupled to immobile part of framework with the help of controlled hydraulic cylinders which enable mobile part to be turned relative to immobile part to ensure inclination of diffuser with reference to vertical axis of cooling tower. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of cooling tower, control over operational conditions of cooling tower with due account of parameters of working medium and wind effect. 8 cl, 8 dwg |
