PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking battery connection and charging of an automatic fire extinguisher is provided to allow a microcomputer to know disconnection, charging and an overcharged state according to whether there is a charging power source of a battery. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for checking battery connection and charging of an automatic fire extinguisher comprises a microcomputer, a darlington portion, and a distribution portion. A microcomputer(20) has an output terminal(RCO) supplying an output signal(CHARGE) an input terminal(RA3) receiving information of connection state and charged state by perceiving a distributed power through a check port(BC). A darlington portion(30) is biased to the output signal(CHARGE) through the output terminal(RCO) and cyclic-switches an adaptor power source(a second power source;Vpp) to apply the adaptor power source to a port(BAT CHECK) when turned on and apply the battery power source thereto when turned off. A distribution portion(40) distributes the power applied to the port(BAT CHECK) at resistances(R27,R28) and applies the distributed power source to the input terminal(RA3).
