FIELD: timber rafting. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at taking of wood from water. Proposed method of gripping of wood bundles by means of carts mainly at booming grounds with slow or no flow velocities comes to the following: said carts are moved along rail tracks of unloading device and stopped, and wood bundle is placed by means of boat opposite to rail tracks of unloading device. After placing wood bundle opposite to rail tracks of unloading device by of boat, after which carts are shifted to push bundle from bank, said carts are stopped and left in waiting until bundle drifts from bank to required distance providing possibility of driving the cart under bundle. Then cart is moved at speed exceeding bundle pushing speed and is stopped to hold bundle floating by inertia. EFFECT: increased capacity. 1 dwg |
