PURPOSE: A method for managing status data in a mobile communication system is provided to suitably execute system configuration management, call processing state management, OAM table data modification management, etc., in a mobile communication system operated in a duplicated method by a multiprocessor. CONSTITUTION: In case that configuration data and status data are modified, a periodic memory block transmission processor transmits the data of an associated memory block to a stand-by processor. In this case, the periodic memory block transmission processor checks tags from the first memory block to the last memory block sequentially. In case that the tag value of a memory block is '1', the periodic memory block transmission processor transmits the data of the memory block to the stand-by processor. If a response message(ACK) is received from the stand-by processor, the periodic memory block transmission processor changes the present new checksum into an old checksum, clears the tag value, and prepares for the checksum checking of the next period.
