The sign consists of at least one supple panel (1, 2) with a front surface for displaying information and lateral edges (13, 14; 23, 24) engaged in side supports (34, 44) that can be moved towards one another by screws (6) to give the panel(s) a required degree of curvature. The side supports are connected by transverse spacers (5) e.g. made from aluminium with self-tapping channels that receive the ends of the screws.
