PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing apparatus having a switch device of proper feeling of an operation. SOLUTION: A tape-shaped switch 500 is provided on a pedestal section 410 in a circumferential direction. An annular rotational operating section 450 is supported to the position opposed to the switch 500 so as to be movable to and from the pedestal part 410. A plurality of second rollers 440, each having a roller part 444 made of rubber or the like, are rotatably mounted on the operating section 450. A flange 313 continuously extending outward from a disc-shaped table plate 311 of a jog table unit 310 is mounted on the second rollers 440. A rotation detecting means 470 provided at the part 410 detects the rotation of the unit 310 by the rotation of the table unit 310. Since the rotation is detected by supporting the flange by the second rollers 440 at the outer peripheral side from the position of the rotating operation, the rotation can be surely detected, and proper feeling of operating can be obtained.
