PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module having no ralative deterioration in modulated signal, even under the effect of stray capacitance at a high frequency of 10 Gb/s. SOLUTION: The optical module comprises a light-emitting element, a transmission circuit for transmitting electrical signals for driving the light-emitting element to the light-emitting element, and a bias circuit for transmitting a bias current of the light-emitting element. The bias circuit comprises: a first inductance element connected to the light-emitting element; a second inductance element connected to the first indutance element; and an RC series circuit, with one end connected between the first inductance element and the second inductance element, and with the other end connected to the ground.
