PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor heating apparatus improved to smoothly raise the temperature of supplied hot water and to improve heat efficiency. SOLUTION: The floor heating apparatus 1 has a heat source machine 3, and a floor heating radiator 5 receiving the supply of hot water from the heat source machine 3. The heat source machine 3 and the radiator 5 are connected by a forward pipeline 31 and a return pipeline 33. The forward pipeline 31 is opened/closed by an on-off valve 29. A control part 50 of the heat source machine 3 controls (1) to output an opening command to the on-off valve 29 when starting to feed the hot water to the radiator 5, (2) then to output a start-up start command of a pump 9 before the on-off valve 29 actually starts opening and (3) to output a combustion start command of the heat source machine 3 after the start-up of the pump 9 and before the opening of the on-off valve 29, at timing before the temperature of supplied hot water rises to an allowable value. The temperature of hot water is thereby prevented from becoming the threshold value or more, and the smooth start of heating operation can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
