PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head cover capable of further lightening while satisfying a basic performance. SOLUTION: This head cover 1 comprises an inner cover 12 arranged on a cylinder head side, an outer cover 13 arranged outside the inner cover 12, and a liquid-tight layer 14 formed on a surface of the outer cover 13. The inner cover 12 and the outer cover 13 are formed of a foamed metallic material or a foamed resin material, and a void content of the inner cover 12 is different from that of the outer cover 13. This head cover 1 can be further lightened while satisfying a basic performance such as a noise insulating property required for the head cover. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
