CANOPY AND WORKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic shovel that has a canopy capable of easily ensuring a protective space by means of substantially square-sectioned frames. SOLUTION: Substantially square-sectioned square pipes are bent in U form to form a pair of frames 53 and 54. A roof edge reinforcing member 61 consisting of a substantially circular-sectioned round pipe curved in arc form is attached to the left of a top portion 53b of the left frame 53. A gap between the roof edge reinforcing member 61 and the top portion 53b of the left frame 53 is covered with a roof flange part 62. Although a three-dimensional curve or bend is not easy to form, even when the square pipes facilitating part attachment and excelling in aesthetics constitute the pair of frames 53 and 54, a protective space in the canopy 52 can be easily ensured while strength of the roof flange part 62 is ensured. The round pipe structure of the roof edge reinforcing member 61 can protect an operator who is in contact with the roof edge reinforcing member 61. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
