PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation work of a polishing cloth in a lifting type polishing device lifting Pachinko balls while polishing the Pachinko balls by a lifting belt and the polishing cloth, and to prevent displacement of the installed polishing cloth or contact with the lifting belt. SOLUTION: In this belt-type lifting type polishing device, the polishing cloth can be easily and properly installed. Each lateral side of the lifting belt 7 is provided with a cloth pressing means 31 to the polishing cloth 21, and the cloth pressing means can press both edge parts 21a of the polishing cloth onto a counter face of a polishing mat 29 by closing a door 13. In the installation of the polishing cloth 21, the cloth pressing means 31 press the edge parts 21a by only stretching both ends and closing the door 13. By providing press members 33 having large friction resistance in press parts of the cloth pressing means 31 or energizing the press parts, cloth-pressing effect is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
