PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture microchamber easily producible at a low cost capable of using any material such as plastics or resins capable of constituting a substrate. SOLUTION: This cell culture microchamber 100 has the following structure. A thin film 106 is provided in a silane-coupled manner on a substrate 101 transparent with no absorption for at least rays of light with a specific visible-region wavelength and disposed with a plurality of holes as culture vessels 102 enabling cell culture at least in one cell unit, and the surface of the thin film 106 is coated with the semipermeable membrane 105 via a binding biological substance.
