METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HOT AIR TYPE THERMAL DISINFECTION OF SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hot air type thermal disinfection of soil, by which soil is inexpensively heated to the most suitable temperature for disinfection with a simple structure in a short time. SOLUTION: Piping 6 is laid under soil 2 for cultivating field crops, hot air formed by using a burner part 12 is supplied to the piping 6 and the soil 2 for cultivation is thermally disinfected by heat radiation from the piping 6. The apparatus 1a for the hot air type thermal disinfection of soil is composed of the piping 6 laid under the soil 2 for cultivating field crops and a combustion unit 7 being a hot air-forming means for forming hot air adjusted to a prescribed temperature and air volume and supplying the hot air to the piping 6.
