PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnover device capable of positively reversing a sheet at a high speed regardless of the size of the sheet. SOLUTION: By using the turnover device 10, when a bill S is delivered to the inside of a reversing part 22 by a delivering means 42 in a state wherein a guide part 50a of a first guide roller 50 in normal rotation is in contact with the peripheral surface 54a of a driven roller 54, the front end of the bill S is sandwiched between the guide part 50a and the peripheral surface 54a, and led into the reversing part 22. Then the bill S is sandwiched between a guide part 52a of a second guide roller 52 for reversing, and moves to a delivering means 42 side. The bill S is taken into a downstream side main conveying route 16b by the receiving means 44 from the rear end, then the front and back side of the bill S is reversed. The operations of delivering and receiving of the bill S is stabilized regardless of its size, and the front and back side of sheets can be positively reversed at a high speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
