PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve the texture of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a display part(51), a plurality of integrated circuits(46A,46B,46C,46D), line-on-glass type signal lines(56), and a signal restricting part. The display part has gate lines(50) for displaying data and pixels arranged in a matrix form. The integrated circuits are connected to the gate lines to provide driving signals to the signal lines. The line-on-glass type signal lines are formed in a region surrounding the display part and provide driving signals to the plurality of integrated circuits. The signal restricting part is connected between output terminals of the integrated circuits and the gate lines and selectively restricts one of the driving signals. The signal restricting part detects a moment when a gate row voltage signal supplied to the gate lines is unstable and blocks the gate row voltage signal. The signal restricting part restricts a swing voltage included in the gate row voltage signal. |
