PURPOSE: A microscope is provided to prevent eye damages caused due to the strong visible light, while allowing for ease of observation and surgery operation. CONSTITUTION: A microscope comprises an infrared ray source(10) for radiating an infrared ray; a cable unit(20) including an optical cable(21) for connecting the infrared ray radiated from the infrared ray source, a collector plate(22) arranged at an end of the optical cable so as to collect the infrared ray radiated from the infrared ray source, and a reflector mirror(23) arranged at the other end of the optical cable so as to adjust the optical path such that the infrared ray is directed toward the patient; a device unit(30) including an object lens(31) for expanding a certain part of the body of the patient, an infrared ray sensor(32) for sensing the infrared ray reflected/absorbed from/in the certain part of the body of the patient, an image projection and synthesizing unit(33) for synthesizing the infrared rays sensed by the infrared ray sensor into images, and an eyepiece(34) for observing the synthesized image; and a display unit(40) including a CCD camera(41) for converting the synthesized image information into an electrical signal, and outputting the electrical signal, an image processor(42) for converting the electrical signal of the CCD camera into images, and a monitor(43) for displaying the images.
