HIGH DENSITY LIQUID DEVELOPER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A high density liquid developer supply system for an image forming apparatus is provided to reduce the volume of the image forming apparatus and manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A high density liquid developer supply system comprises an ink cartridge(52) containing high density developers for each color; a cartridge unit(54) for discriminating colors of ink cartridges and supplying the high density developers contained in the ink cartridge; a developing unit(56) for developing images by using the high density ink supplied from the cartridge unit; and a connection unit(58) for connecting the ink cartridge and the developing unit, wherein the connection unit serves as a path for transmitting the high density developer to the developing unit. The high density ink is directly supplied from the ink cartridge to the developing unit through the cartridge unit and the connection unit, and the ink cartridge is removed from the image forming apparatus.
