PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which a diameter of a speaker of the digital camera is enlarged, a baffle effect is obtained as well and a sound quality is improved. SOLUTION: A lens cap 50 is removably mounted on a front face of a lens barrel 14 provided in a camera body 12, and the lens cap 50 is equipped with a speaker part. In a reproducing mode, a sound corresponding to video to be displayed on a liquid crystal monitor 36 is outputted from a speaker part 54 to appreciatively watch an image while listening to the sound. Besides, an internal speaker 96 is packaged in the camera body 12 to be used while selectively switching the speaker part (external speaker) 54 of the lens cap 50 and the internal speaker 96. The speakers may be switched by (manual) operations of a user or may be also switched automatically by detecting a mounting state of the lens cap 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
