PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS positioning apparatus that is carried close to a user and appropriately receives GPS signals and auxiliary information. SOLUTION: The GPS positioning apparatus comprises a GPS antenna for receiving GPS signals that are transmitted from a GPS satellite and a communication antenna for receiving radio signals transmitted from a fixed station inside an enclosure. The GPS positioning apparatus also has a positioning section for positioning, by using the positioning information by the GPS signals and the auxiliary information by the radio signals. Further, the GPS positioning apparatus has an external auxiliary antenna for receiving the GPS signal and the radio signal separately from the GPS antenna and the communication antenna, and has an antenna connection section, where the external auxiliary antenna is connected in the enclosure.
