PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a personal computer (PC) to be used as a base unit in a living room and to enable a single PC to deal with a plurality of handsets with cameras in entrances . SOLUTION: An add-in card 2 is provided with a multiple signal converting circuit 12 for converting an analog data signal multiplexed with a calling signal, a video signal and an audio signal transmitted from a handset 1 with a camera in the entrance into a digital data signal, and the add-in card 2 is connected to a PC 3. In the PC 3, a data converting part 16 is formed from a program for demultiplexing the digital data signal which is converted in the multiple signal converting circuit 12 into call data, video data and audio data, and the PC is provided with an audio part 18 for reporting the multiplexed call data as a ring-back tone and performing two-way communications, a display part 20 for outputting the demultiplexed video data, and an operation part 19 composed of a keyboard, a mouse and the like.
