PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination method of a salt-containing well water in which the acid addition amount required for suppressing scale formation can be reduced and decrease in the level of the well water and deterioration in water quality resulting from increase in water intake are prevented. SOLUTION: When the salt-containing well water containing a large amount of calcium ions and/or bicarbonate ions is desalted by reverse osmosis method, the salt-containing well water is blended with seawater and obtained mixture is desalted.
