PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for lumbago treatment which rotates, inverts and swings the waist part of a patient in a circle or an ellipse of an arbitrary shape and size in a state wherein the waist part is pulled. SOLUTION: A pulling device 11 which can pull the lumbar spine of the patient to the foot side is disposed on one end side of a bed 7 provided with a bedstead on a frame 5, while a side locking device 13 which can engage the upper body part of the patient is disposed on the other end side of the bed, with side holding implements 12 interposed. The bedstead is divided into a deck 23 for the upper body part, a deck 25 for the waist part and a deck 27 for the leg part, and the deck 25 for the waist part and the deck 27 for the leg part are so provided on the frame 5 that they can be moved apart from and near to the deck 23 for the upper body part. The deck 25 for the waist part is provided with a waist rotating device 40 which can move the deck 25 two-dimensionally by a lateral movement mechanism that can be moved linearly to the right and the left by a servomotor, by a vertical movement mechanism that can be moved up and down linearly by a servomotor and by a control device that can control the two servomotors.
