The invention relates to a device for spatial representation, comprising an image reproduction device and an optical module (5) consisting of a plurality of optical elements, preferably filter elements. The position of said optical elements enables an observer to perceive, with one eye, partial information from a first selection of viewpoints of a scene/an object and, with the other, partial information from a second selection of said viewpoints. This is achieved by detachably connecting the image reproduction device and the optical component module (5) by means of a fixing device. By fixing the optical module (5) to the image reproduction device it is possible to transform a monoscopic image representation into an auto-stereoscopic image representation and vice-versa. Preferably, the optical module (5) consists of a structure plate (1) whose structures form the plurality of optical elements. The fixing device consists of means for influencing the air pressure between the structure plate (1) and the surface of an image reproduction device embodied in the form of a flat screen. The optical module (5) is maintained on the flat screen by producing a low pressure between the structure plate (1) and the surface of the flat screen.
