An automotive component comprises a composite material comprising thermoplastic polymeric material; natural fiber; and adhesion promoter comprising silane and titanate. An Independent claim is also included for a process for making an automotive component, comprising providing a composite material comprising thermoplastic polymeric material and natural fiber; exposing the composite to an adhesion promoter comprising silane and titanate; and forming the composite material exposed to the adhesion promoter in the mold to form a molded automotive component.
