<p>A wireless authentication system, a wireless authentication method, and a key-side device and an apparatus-side device constituting the wireless authentication system. The key-side device built in, for example, a wristwatch-type communication terminal device or a car key transmits a call signal in the form of a radio signal to the apparatus-side device built in, for example, a door lock or a personal computer of a car. When the apparatus-side device receives the call signal from the key-side device, an acknowledge response signal of the call signal and an identification code of the apparatus-side device are transmitted in the form of radio signals. The key-side device collates the identification code of the apparatus-side device transmitted from the apparatus-side device with the identification code of the apparatus-side device stored in the storage unit of the key-side device in advance, and authenticates the apparatus-side device when both identification codes agree with each other. After the authentication, the key-side device transmits the identification code of the key-side device in the form of radio signal. The apparatus-side device collates the identification code of the key-side device transmitted from the key-side device with the identification code of the key-side device stored in the storage device of the apparatus-side in advance, and authenticates the key-side device when both identification codes agrees with each other.</p> |
