PURPOSE: An organic photoreceptor containing a fluoran-based compound, an electrophotography image forming device containing the photoreceptor and its method are provided, to improve the mechanical properties and the electrostatic properties of the organic photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: The organic photoreceptor comprises a fluoran compound having the central nucleus of the formula 1; a polymer binder where the fluoran compound is bound; a charge generation compound; and a conductive supporter having the surface where the fluoran compound, the polymer binder and the charge generation compound are placed. Preferably the fluoran compound is represented by the formula 2, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are independently -NR9R10, -OR11, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a halogen atom, -COR12, H, or a part of a cyclic ring or a polycyclic ring, and R9, R10, R11 and R12 are independently H, an alkyl group or an aryl group. Optionally the organic photoreceptor comprises further a charge transport compound.
