PURPOSE: A pressure keeping device for an electric pressure rice cooker is provided to simplify the shape of an upper case by installing the pressure keeping device within a cover. CONSTITUTION: A device for keeping the pressure of an electric pressure rice cooker is composed of a valve body installed within a cover and having a chamber(111) communicating an inner oven with the outside, and a pressure weight(120) movably installed at the chamber. The pressure weight moves up if the pressure of the inner oven is more than the weight of the pressure weight, and discharges steam into the outside.
