PURPOSE: A method for compensating a load in using a brake of a vehicle is provided to secure an intake negative pressure for maintaining performance of a brake, and prevent insecure RPM according to a change in negative pressure. CONSTITUTION: A current pressure of an engine is detected(110). A current RPM(Rotations Per Minute) is detected(120). A current speed of a car is detected(130). The optimum pressure of the engine according to the detected RPM and the current speed is extracted from an ISA(Idle Speed Actuator) compensation map(140). If a driver brakes, it is judged whether the current pressure is equal to the optimum pressure(150-160). If not, the ISA is operated to control an amount of intake air to be flowed into the engine for making the pressure in the engine into the optimum pressure(170).
