PURPOSE: A structure for a cylinder block is provided to improve the cooling capability and simplify a structure for a cylinder block, thereby extending the life span of a metal mould and reducing the cost for the metal mould. CONSTITUTION: A water path part(31) is formed to make cooling water pass through a path in a cylinder block. A water pump guide part(32) is formed on one side of the water path part for guiding the cooling water to enter a cylinder head. The water pump guide part is formed of adjacent parts(32a) contacting with the water path part, and round external edge parts(32b) extended from the adjacent parts. Especially, the adjacent part formed at an inlet of a water jacket(30) is curved to prevent en eddy in the water jacket.
