<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which an electric air cleaner is made easily and certainly attachable and detachable by providing it with a stable electric contact point structure with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A front surface panel 4 is constituted of an upper panel 4a provided with a suction port 2 and a lower panel 4b provided with a blowing out port 3 and a support piece 9 is projectedly provided at a front side of the electric air cleaner 8. A pivotally supporting part 10 for pivotally supporting the support piece 9 and an engagement part 11 for engaging a rear part of the electric air cleaner 8 are provided on the both sides of the suction port 2. A support body 13 formed in an L shape by a support part 12 connecting the pivot support part 10 and the engagement part 11 and supporting a bottom part of the electric air cleaner 8 and an auxiliary support part 12' continuously formed on the support part 12 through the pivot support part 10 is provided. The electric air cleaner 8 pivotally supports the support piece 9 at the pivot support part 10 and supports the bottom part at the support part 12.
