<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installing time and the installing cost of a feeder. <P>SOLUTION: The power feed system for an optical terminator 104 connected to metallic drop wires 108 led into a small-scale user house 105 comprises power generators 107, 204, 205 for generating DC voltages as a power in a home apparatus in the small-scale user house, a power superposer 206 for superposing the DC voltages from the power generators as a power on a transmission signal generated in the home apparatus to output them to the optical terminator over the metallic drop wires, a power separator 211 for separating the inputted DC voltages superposed on the transmission signal from the power superposer into the transmission signal and the DC voltages to make the optical terminator process the separated transmission signal into an optical signal, and a power feeder 212 for feeding the separated DC voltages by the power separator to components of the optical terminator as a power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
