<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel balance weight never causing a failure of weight by an impact in mounting. <P>SOLUTION: This wheel balance weight comprises a weight 1 formed of zinc or a zinc alloy, and a locking member 3 formed of a bent metal plate and having one end part 31 fixed to the weight 1 and the other end part 33 opened to nip the circumferential part of the rim part of a wheel. An engagement groove 11 for fitting the one end part 31 is formed on the surface of the weight 1. In the state where the one end part 31 of the locking member 3 is fitted to the engagement groove 11, the opening end for partitioning the engagement groove 11 is protruded toward the engagement groove 11 to form a claw part 14 by caulking, whereby the one end part 31 is fixed to the engagement groove 11.
