<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decompressing device of a seal member in a compressor with improved reliability of the seal member by restricting a refrigerant gas pressure entering a seal chamber from a swash plate chamber, and simultaneously improving decompression efficiency to reduce burden of the seal member. <P>SOLUTION: A seal chamber 23 separated from atmosphere by a first seal member 21 and separated from a swash plate chamber 4 by a second seal member 22 is defined between an insertion hole 120 and a rotary shaft 5 of a front housing 2. A decompression passage 150, whose inlet is opened to the seal chamber 23 and whose outlet is opened to an end on an intake chamber 15 side of the rotary shaft 5, is formed in the rotary shaft 5. A helical pump 25 is fitted and locked to an end on the outlet side of the rotary shaft 5, and refrigerant in the seal chamber 23 is sucked in a suction chamber 15 via the decompression chamber 150 by driving the helical pump 25. The seal chamber 23 is communicated with the swash plate chamber 4 via a stationary restriction passage 26 formed to the front housing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
