ROLLER BEARING DEVICE AND IT MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing device and its manufacturing method with a long service life and high reliability capable of preventing generation of a gap caused by a spring back at a caulked part caulked to a bearing ring member and preventing the generation of corrosion of the gap.

SOLUTION: In the roller bearing device, the caulking part 2a1 caulked to the end surface in the axial direction 5b of an inner ring member 5 is provided in the shaft end part 2a of a hub wheel (shaft body) and the inner ring member 5 and the hub wheel are fixed by the caulking part 2a1. A burnishing is applied to the caulking part so as to press the caulking part 2a1 to the axial end surface 5b and the caulking part 2a1 and the axial end surface 5b are brought into contact with each other with no gap.
