FILAMENT NONWOVEN FABRIC, ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILAMENT NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament nonwoven fabric flexible though dense and applicable to clothes applications and to provide an artificial synthetic leather using the same. SOLUTION: The filament nonwoven fabric comprises 100% of filaments hydrolyzable by alkali weight-reduction processing or the filament nonwoven fabric comprises at least the filaments. Furthermore, the filaments are characterized by satisfying at least one of the following characteristics: (a) 20×10-3to 90×10-3degree of orientation (▵n); (b) 1.335-1.36 specific gravity (ρ); and (c) 45-250% elongation. Polyethylene terephthalate, filaments polybutylene terephthalate filaments, polytrimethylene terephthalate filaments and polylactic acid filaments are cited as the filaments hydrolyzable by the alkali weight-reduction processing.
