PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable light emitting element containing organic chemicals and efficiently emitting high luminance light. SOLUTION: This light emitting element has at least one organic layer containing a light emitting layer between a pair of electrodes. The organic layer contains at least a chemical expressed by general formulae 1 and 2. In the formula 1, Ar<SP>51</SP>represents a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon radical of three or more condensed rings; R<SP>51</SP>expresses a substituent ; and R<SP>52</SP>, R<SP>53</SP>represent radicals of a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon structure of three or more condensed rings; and n<SP>51</SP>represents an integer of zero to four. In the formula 2, Ar<SP>61</SP>represents a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon radical of three or more condensed rings; R<SP>61</SP>expresses a substituent ; and R<SP>62</SP>, R<SP>63</SP>represent radicals of a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon structure of three or more condensed rings; and n<SP>61</SP>represents an integer of zero to four.
