PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge capable of always positioning a leader block with respect to a cartridge case with appropriate holding power. SOLUTION: The leader block 32 is attached to a housing part 37 in the cartridge case as a positioning means for positioning and holding and is composed of a metal leader block spring 31 with a cross section having a U shape for flexibly holding the upper and lower faces of the leader block 32. The leader block spring 31 has first and second arms 31b and 31d brought into flexible contact with upper and lower surfaces of the leader block 32 respectively, and a base 31a fixed to a wall part 37wd for positioning of the housing part 37. The first and second arms 31b and 31d are provided with first and second projection parts 31c and 31e that are fitted into the leader block 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
