PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space heating apparatus capable of uniformly heating the whole interior of a room regardless of the temperature of warm air and improved in comfortability without making a user feel cold air regarding the heating apparatus provided with a heating case having a suction port and a blowoff port, a heat medium passage for circulating a heat medium, a heat exchanger formed of a part of the heat medium passage and arranged in an air blowing region between the suction port and the blowoff port, and a blower means for blowing air taken in from the suction port and heated by the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A bypass line 8 for diverting the heat medium 1 flowing into the heat exchanger 3 is provided in a position off the air blowing region 7 of the heat medium passage 2, and the bypass line 8 is provided with a flow control valve 9. A temperature control part 10 is provided for controlling to put the flow control valve 9 in opening operation and to slow down the air speed of blowoff warm air when the temperature of the blowoff warm air is higher than a prescribed value and to put the flow control valve 9 in closing operation and to speed up the air speed of blowoff warm air when the temperature of the blowoff warm air is lower than the prescribed value.
