PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure for water heater adapter capable of easily fixing a water heater adaptor having the function as a pipe connecting member to an electric water heater with a small force while ensuring the seal between them. SOLUTION: A water supply passage 34 and a hot water outlet passage 46 are integrally formed on the water heater adaptor 20 so that their terminal openings are matched to the space between the water inlet opening 14 and hot water outlet opening 16 of the electric water heater 10. The water heater adaptor 20 is allowed to abut on and fixed to the electric water heater 10 in the state where the terminal opening opening of the water supply passage 34 is fitted to the water inlet opening 14, and the terminal opening of the hot water outlet passage 46 to the hot water outlet opening 16. In the fixation, the water passage and hot water passage between the adaptor 20 and the heater 10 are independently water-tightly sealed by an annular first seal member 64 for surrounding the terminal opening of the water supply passage 34 and the water inlet opening 14 and an annular second seal member 66 for surrounding the terminal opening of the hot water outlet passage 46 and the hot water outlet opening 16, respectively.
