PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a desired supporting force by selecting a tip metal fitting 12 that matches the desired supporting force, and joining the selected tip to a versatile existing pile 14. SOLUTION: The tip metal fitting 12 has a large diameter part 2 with an outside diameter D<SB>3</SB>formed at the upper end of a steel pipe body 1 having an outside diameter D<SB>2</SB>and has an annular protrusion 10 with an outside diameter D<SB>4</SB>formed at the lower end of the pipe body (a). The outside diameter D<SB>4</SB>of the annular protrusion 10 is equal to or greater than the maximum outside diameter D<SB>5</SB>of the large diameter part 2. The large diameter part 2 of the metal fitting 12 is connected to the front end of the existing (straight) pile 14 to form the existing pile with the metal fitting. The existing pile 14 is buried by lowering it into a pile hole filled with soil cement or the like, so that the tip metal fitting 12 is located at a foot protection part formed at the lower end of the pile hole. After the soil cement has hardened, the foundation pile structure is formed. A shear force is obliquely conducted to the soil cement layer from the upper and lower surfaces of the annular protrusion 10 in response to a vertical load or a drawing force so as to obtain a high supporting force.
