POWDER-CONTAINING SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder-containing substrate useful as foundation or sunscreens by sufficiently suppressing a photoactivity of the powder. SOLUTION: The powder-containing substrate is prepared by adding a cyclic silicon and a dispersing agent to silicon-treated powder and stirring and mixing. An especially effective result is obtained by using methylpolysiloxane (with an average degree of polymerization of 5-50) and/or methyl hydrogen polysiloxane (with an average degree of polymerization of 10-50) as the silicon for the silicon treatment, methylcyclopolysiloxane (with an average degree of polymerization of 2-6) as the cyclic silicon and titanium dioxide or zinc oxide as the powder.
