A post for a rack. The post is formed of a sheet constructed of a malleable, bendable material. The sheet is formed into a folded box section configuration wherein at least a portion of the first side (60) overlaps a portion of the second side (62) to provide an overlapping portion (64). The post can be used for forming a European Telecommunications Standards Institute conforming rack.
