摘要 When the driver depresses the clutch with the vehicle speed control operational, the change-up probability (P) is calculated. This is the probability that change-up to the next or target gear (ZG) will occur. When the clutch is depressed, the engine speed (N) is controlled as a function of time, in accordance with P and ZG. On clutch pedal release, normal vehicle speed control is resumed. An Independent claim is included for corresponding equipment.
