PURPOSE: A double mass flywheel is provided to reduce the number of parts by simplifying the structure with forming the wedged end of the compression spring, and to operate stably by damping in proportion to the relative rotation angle of a first mass and a second mass. CONSTITUTION: A double mass flywheel comprises a first mass(101) combined with an output shaft of an engine and composed of a circumferential chamber; a second mass(103) combined with an input shaft of a transmission; a drive plate(105) combined with the second mass; a couple of compression springs(111,113) compressed by relative rotation of the first mass and the drive plate, and arranged in the chamber of the first mass; and inner and outer guides moved radially according to compression of the compression spring, and arranged between compression springs. The wedged end is formed in the compression spring, and the space is formed between the inner and outer guides to contain the wedged ends of the compression springs.
