<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method capable of carrying out the recording operation excellent in the recording quality. <P>SOLUTION: The recording condition which includes at least one out of the shape and the number of pulses of the light emitting pulse of a light source at the time when a mark is formed on the information recording medium is set (steps 509) in accordance with a prescribed standard, and data are recorded on the basis of this recording condition, and also the information as to the recording condition is recorded on the prescribed position of the information recording medium (steps 515, 517). By this procedure, when the data are further recorded on this information recording medium by using an another information recorder, the optimal recording condition can be known at once by means of reproducing the prescribed position of the information recording medium, thereby the trial writing, etc., are not required and the recording operation excellent in the recording quality can be quickly carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
