<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of mechanical strength caused by compounding a large amount of a metal hydroxide and to provide high tensile strength, etc., in a nonhalogen flame-retardant resin composition comprising the large amount of the metal hydroxide compounded in a polyolefinic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The nonhalogen flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 pts. wt. of the polyolefinic resin and 50-300 pts. wt. of the metal hydroxide.
