<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing the occurrence of loss time in machine operations by imparting information about the exchange of a unit at the appropriate time corresponding to the using conditions of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with an exchange / replenishment control means 13 for notifying the user through a display means 6 that exchange / replenishment time is close for each unit required to be exchanged due to service life or residual amount reduction and then measuring the time to the point of time at which the service life or residual amount of the unit is used up and the machine operation becomes impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
