<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of image formation of an image forming apparatus such as a color printer, a color copying machine, etc., with an intermediate transfer member, by minimizing a decrease in throughput of the image formation when a plurality of pieces of full-color image data and black-and-white image data are inputted. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with an image formation part 100, an image input part 101 which inputs and stores a plurality of pieces of image data, a control part 103 which determines the image formation order of the image formation part 100, and an image output control part 102 which reads image data out of the image input part 101 one after in the image formation order, and when a color image formation job and a black-and-white image formation job are commanded, the control part 103 makes the image formation part 100 perform image formation through both the jobs together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
