<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly acquire the fading frequency in a CDMA system. <P>SOLUTION: The fading frequency estimator despreads received signals to output specified code signals, samples the powers of the code signals with specified time intervals, calculates the absolute value of the difference between the sampled adjacent received powers, integrates the absolute value of the difference over a prescribed time, obtains the power gradient from the integrated value, and estimates the fading frequency, based on the power gradient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
